It builds the prototype, the pitch deck, the landing page, the mockup. Designers with ten-year portfolios just found out the job they spent a decade building is now a twenty-dollar subscription.

(Anthropic knocked seven percent off Figma’s stock in a single day when this launched. The same week, Anthropic’s chief product officer stepped down from Figma’s board. Nobody bothered pretending it was a coincidence.)

If you have not been paying attention to what shipped over the last ninety days, you are about to feel two different kinds of pain.

If you are a creator who has been outsourcing your design work, your thumbnails, your motion graphics, your editing, you have been overpaying by a lot.

If you are a freelancer making a living from any of the above, your repositioning window is closing.

This is not a prediction. It is a receipt.

I have been in technology for twenty years. I currently lead multiple programs developing AI models at Google. I watch this industry ship capabilities every week, and the last ninety days reorganized how I think about paying for freelance work entirely.

The Ramp Economics Lab published a paper that tracked firm-level spending from 2021 through 2025. Their finding was simple. The companies that had been spending the most on freelancers were the same companies that moved fastest to AI providers. The freelancer is the canary for white-collar automation, because nobody has to fire you. The contract just ends.

In this newsletter I am going to walk through six freelance gigs that are dying in real time. Then I will tell you what remains worth selling.

1 - The design gig.

If you have been paying a designer for thumbnails, hiring someone for a pitch deck, or paying a monthly retainer for your brand work, your math just changed.

I ran Claude Design on a side project this morning. I had a rough idea for a landing page. Nothing drawn. Nothing mocked. I described what I wanted out loud. Uploaded two screenshots of pages I liked as references. Pointed it at my existing brand.

Thirty minutes later I had a pixel-accurate prototype. Already responsive. Copy laid out on branded pages. The previous version of this same workflow was a four-hundred-dollar Fiverr order and a three-day wait.

Here is how it works. You upload your codebase, your design files, your brand guidelines. Claude Design reads them. It builds your design system automatically. Your colors, your typography, your components. Then you describe what you want, upload a napkin sketch, or point it at a competitor’s page. It outputs a working prototype, a pitch deck, a wireframe, or marketing content laid out on branded pages.

The design-to-development handoff that agencies used to bill a full week for does not exist anymore. You send the output straight to Claude Code and it builds the real thing.

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" education platform known for intricate interactive lessons, reported that the most complex pages on their site used to require twenty or more prompts to recreate in competing tools. In Claude Design, the same pages required two.

Datadog’s product team described going from a rough idea to a working prototype before anyone left the room. What used to be a week of briefs, mockups, and review rounds compressed into a single conversation.

A ten-year portfolio is now part of a twenty-dollar-a-month subscription that knows your brand better than most agencies ever did.

This is the Portfolio Collapse. The work itself did not disappear. The premium attached to having built a decade-long portfolio just did.

2 - The thumbnail gig.

If you are a thumbnail designer, a social graphics freelancer, or a Shorts producer, your best month was probably last month.

Two weeks ago I watched a creator friend run a test. He took three top-performing competitor thumbnails in his niche. Fed them to Gemini’s Nano Banana Pro as references. Asked for six variants on his own topic. Kept the character consistent. Matched the typography. Adjusted the emotion on the face.

Twelve minutes of work. Six thumbnails. His click-through rate doubled within hours.

Nano Banana Pro, powered by Gemini 3 Pro Image, does specific things the previous generation could not.

It holds up to fourteen reference images in a single workflow. It maintains the appearance of up to five distinct characters across multiple shots. It renders text correctly in over a hundred languages, including legible typography for marketing mockups, posters, and packaging.

That last detail is the one most people are missing. (The language barrier that protected design freelancers in non-English markets just collapsed.)

The pricing tells the rest of the story. On the Gemini API, a standard image costs around thirteen cents. A 4K image costs around twenty-four cents.

The thumbnail freelance market was a twenty-thousand-a-month side business for hundreds of designers two years ago. Today it is a three-dollar API call per thumbnail. And the results are beating humans on cold-traffic click-through.

If you have a Gemini Advanced subscription, you get a hundred images a day included, and you can generate videos with Veo inside Google Vids.

This is the thumbnail factory with unlimited b-rolls as a bonus. Industrial-scale production, no designer required, all bundled into a single subscription.

3 - The motion graphics gig.
<div retainer for monthly social cuts, this next part is going to sting.

The Remotion skill for Claude Code went viral in January. Six million views on the launch demo. Twenty-five thousand installs in the first week.

Here is what actually happened there. Developers realized that the exact workflow a motion designer charges premium for is now a single Claude Code session. You brief Claude on a thirty-second product launch video with logo animation, feature callouts, and a call to action. React components get written. Remotion renders to MP4.

Time from brief to finished file: ninety minutes.

(That is the shallow end of the pool.)

There is an MCP plugin that lets Claude drive Adobe After Effects directly. It creates compositions, text layers, shape layers, solids, sets keyframes, runs the timeline. There is a Manim MCP that renders the mathematical animations you see in a 3Blue1Brown video. There is a Motion AI Kit with three hundred and thirty pre-built animation examples your AI editor can pull from on demand.

The motion graphics skill stack is now a plugin library. The animator tax, that surcharge freelancers have been adding on top of video production for the last decade, just went to zero.

The invoice clients used to sign without thinking is now a line item nobody is approving anymore.

4 - Three more gigs on the clock.

Three down. Three more about to follow.

Video editors.

Veo 3.1 generates eight-second 1080p clips with natively synchronized audio. Google’s Flow app lets you edit those clips with natural language. You say “change the lighting to golden hour” or “make the cut faster” and it happens. The simple cut-and-title editing gig that fuels most YouTube side-channels is about three capability updates away from being unviable.

Voice-over artists.

The same Veo 3.1 generates dialogue, ambient audio, and sound effects matched to what is on screen. Stack that with ElevenLabs and the voice-over freelancer market for explainer videos, audiobooks, and YouTube narration hits its ceiling this quarter.

Junior developers.

Google’s Jules runs as an asynchronous coding agent. Antigravity is its no-code agentic platform. Claude Code on Opus 4.7 handles long-running software tasks with a consistency that used to require a senior engineer standing over a junior’s shoulder.

The junior dev contract where you pay a freelancer eighty dollars an hour to build a dashboard or a landing page is the next pricing floor to fall.

5 - The data is louder than the speculation.

The shift I am describing is not theoretical, and it is already showing up in the platform-level data.

On Upwork, eleven of the twelve major project categories saw year-over-year declines in 2025. Writing projects dropped thirty-two percent. The overall market contracted by nine percent.

Sensor Tower tracked the app-level decline. Fiverr downloads dropped eighteen percent year-over-year. Upwork downloads dropped twenty-two percent. The Upwork freelancer-side app lost thirty-two percent of its monthly active users across five quarters.

The interesting move sits one layer underneath those numbers. Upwork reported in February 2026 that demand for AI-related freelance skills grew one hundred and nine percent year-over-year. AI video generation and editing alone grew three hundred and twenty-nine percent, becoming the fastest-growing skill category on the entire platform.

The freelance market did not collapse. The execution-only freelance market did. The judgment layer above it expanded.

This is the migration the canary always warns about. The volume work is shrinking. The premium work, the work that requires judgment, taste, and the ability to direct AI rather than compete with it, is the only part of the market still growing.

6 - The filter is the asset.

This is the lesson I want you to hold onto, because it applies whether you are a freelancer, a creator, or someone running a business that hires either.

The question is not whether freelance pricing compresses. It is whether you reposition before it does. And repositioning does not mean working harder or working cheaper. It means selling the one thing a subscription cannot replicate.

Judgment. Knowing which output to ship and why.

Taste. Knowing which of six AI-generated thumbnails will actually convert with your specific audience.

Direction. Knowing what to build, what to cut, what to refine, and what to throw away.

AI does the work. You are the filter. Sell the filter.

That is the only repositioning that holds up across all six of the dying gigs. The rest of the conversation, the one about which tool replaces which job, is noise.

The execution layer is collapsing into the subscription. What sits above the execution layer is what survives. The freelancers who win the next decade will not be the ones who can produce the most. They will be the ones who can pick the right output from infinite options, on behalf of a specific business, in a specific moment, for a specific result.

Be the filter.

Four habits to change now that Opus 4.7 is out

Your feed is about to be flooded with Opus 4.7 feature Skip them.

The feature recap is not the update. The update is a small set of habit changes, and if you miss them, your prompts still work. They just get quietly worse over time, and you will not be able to tell why.

This is the most common pattern I see when a new model ships. People read the release notes, note the benchmarks, maybe try one or two new capabilities, then go back to prompting the way they did with the previous model. On a minor version bump, that is fine. On a release like 4.7, it is costly. The way you get quality out of this model is different enough from the way you got quality out of 4.6 that keeping your old habits is actively working against you.

I have been in technology for 20 years, and I currently lead multiple programs developing AI models at Google. I have been running Opus 4.7 for the last few days on my own client acquisition system, and over that time I have had to retire four specific prompting habits that were invisible friction in my workflow. There is also a fifth change that sits underneath the other four. It is the reason they exist, and once you see it, the individual habits stop feeling like separate tactics and start feeling like one shift.

We will get to that last.

The first habit to change is how you use your opening prompt.

Load it with everything. Task, constraints, acceptance criteria, file locations, relevant context. The entire brief, delivered upfront, in a single turn. A turn, in case you do not use the term, is one exchange: you send a message, the model answers, that is one turn.

On 4.6 you could get away with opening loosely and tightening as you went. Drop in a task, see what comes back, add constraints when you realized you needed them, correct direction on the next turn. The model absorbed that drift without much penalty. Output quality held up across a dozen turns of conversation.

On 4.7, that pattern starts working against you. The model does more reasoning on every user turn than 4.6 did. Every time you drip in a new constraint mid-conversation, 4.7 re-reasons the entire context from the beginning. The longer the thread runs and the more corrections you stack, the more you erode the quality that would have been there if you had just briefed properly at turn one.

When you adopt this habit, you stop having conversations with the model and start giving it assignments. Your first message becomes a brief instead of an opener. Because 4.7 is strong enough to execute a well-written brief, you get single-turn output that is usable without the back-and-forth you are used to.

If you are refactoring, name the refactor, say what should stay unchanged, list the tests that need to pass, and point to where the files live. If you are designing, give it the constraints and the definition of done. One brief, at the start.

I learned this on my own client acquisition system. Output quality kept dipping around the fifth turn in a conversation, and I could not figure out what was happening. The fix was changing how I opened. A well-briefed model outperforms a well-guided one.

The second habit is the one most people keep getting wrong even after they fix the first.

Batch your follow-up questions. If you have five concerns after reading the first response, send them in a single message, not five separate ones.

This flows from the same reasoning mechanics. Every user turn on 4.7 forces a full re-reasoning pass over the entire conversation. A quick “also, do this” follow-up looks cheap. It is not. Each of those quick follow-ups costs you the same reasoning overhead as a substantive new prompt.

The real cost, though, is not compute or time. It is coherence. When you feed the model five concerns in a single message, it can weigh them together and produce a response that balances all of them. When you feed them one at a time, each response optimizes for the last thing you asked about, and overall coherence slowly erodes. By the time you are on your sixth follow-up, the output has drifted from what the first response was reaching for.

Two or three clean exchanges beats ten or fifteen messy ones. When the first response lands, resist the urge to fire off a quick “one more thing.” Hold your questions, read the output carefully, and send everything you want adjusted in one consolidated turn.

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank" This one only applies if you are working in Claude Code, which is Anthropic’s agentic coding environment. If you are using regular Claude chat or Cowork, you will not see this setting.

Claude Code lets you set effort levels that tell the model how hard to reason about a task. The options are low, medium, high, xhigh, and max. With 4.7, xhigh is new. It sits between high and max, and it is now the default.

The temptation for most people who upgrade from 4.6 is to port over their old effort setting without thinking about it. Do not. Take the time to experiment with xhigh.

At lower effort levels, the model reasons lightly and answers fast. At max, it reasons as hard as it can, which is sometimes what you want and often overkill. The runaway token usage and latency on long agentic runs at max can be punishing. xhigh gives you the careful reasoning and autonomy you want for serious work, without the cost profile that makes max impractical for sustained use.

xhigh earns its place in the gap between serviceable output and excellent output. High gets you a usable result on most tasks. xhigh catches the edge cases and the subtle bugs you did not think to flag. On anything intelligence-sensitive, like API design, schema migrations, or debugging code you do not fully understand, xhigh is the level where the model actually shows what it can do.

On my own client acquisition pipeline, xhigh caught a production bug in my lead scoring logic that high would have shipped into the world. The difference between those two effort levels was, in that specific case, the difference between shipping a bug and catching one. You can also toggle between levels within the same task if you want to manage token cost on simpler steps while keeping xhigh for the heavy parts.

<a stop.

On 4.6 you could pass a token budget for reasoning, which was a way of telling the model how much to think before answering. Small budget for simple tasks, larger budget for hard ones. You had to tune it manually for each task type, and getting the tuning wrong meant either sluggish responses on easy problems or shallow responses on hard ones.

That is gone in 4.7. Fixed thinking budgets are no longer supported. Instead you get adaptive thinking, which means the model decides when to reason hard and when to skip reasoning entirely.

In practice, the model will fly through a simple lookup and go deep on a complex refactor, and it is better at making that call than you are. You stop managing the model’s thinking. You manage what you ask it to do.

If you want to push the model toward more thinking on a hard problem, just tell it directly. Something like “think carefully and step by step, this is harder than it looks.” If you want it to stop overthinking a simple lookup, tell it to prioritize a quick response over deep reasoning. Plain language, no settings panel.

The setup time you used to spend tuning budgets is gone. The decisions you used to make about whether a task deserves deeper reasoning are gone. What remains is the work itself. The model knows when to think harder. That is its job now, not yours.

Now the fifth shift, which is the one I told you we would get to at the end.

It is not a habit so much as a mindset update that sits underneath the other four. Once you see it, the individual tactics stop feeling like a list of tips and start feeling like one change expressed in four different surfaces.

The shift is this: you are no longer pair programming with the model. You are delegating to it.

Pair programming means sitting next to someone and guiding them step by step. You explain, they type, you correct, they adjust. The person next to you needs your hand on the wheel or they drift. Delegation is different. You brief someone capable, you trust them to execute, you review the result. Both are real working modes. They demand different skills from the person doing the delegating.

Earlier models were pair programmers. They needed your hand on the wheel because they would drift without it. Line-by-line correction, constant clarification, stepwise guidance, those habits made sense for those models because those models needed them.

4.7 does not need that kind of oversight for most of a task. It is capable enough to be briefed and left alone to execute. Every one of the first four habits I walked through is a symptom of this bigger update. Loading the first turn, batching your questions, using xhigh, trusting the adaptive thinking. Those are all things you would do naturally if you were delegating to someone capable. They only feel like new habits because the old pair-programming reflexes are still in your hands.

When you make the switch, cycle time drops. Output quality climbs. The work stops feeling exhausting in the way that constant oversight always feels exhausting. You are not managing the model anymore. You are briefing a capable operator and reviewing the output.

<picture></picture>

<g>

</g><polyline points="15 3 21 3 21 9"></polyline><polyline points="9 21 3 21 3 15"></polyline><line x1="21" x2="14" y1="3" y2="10"></line><line x1="3" x2="10" y1="21" y2="14"></line>

There is a test you can run on your own workflow tomorrow.

Open your next Claude Code session and watch how you are interacting with the model. Reviewing is the skill. Knowing what to hand off and what to keep is the skill. The model is catching up to a level of capability where the bottleneck is no longer the model. It is whether you know how to work with something capable.

Load the first turn. Batch the follow-ups. Default to xhigh. Let the model manage its own thinking. And stop pair programming with something that no longer needs it.

That is the whole update. See you in the next one,

Guney

Most people are asking a recipe book to run a kitchen.

There is a specific their expertise have not stopped long enough to actually sit with it.

If anyone can learn almost anything for free, what are people actually paying for?

This is not a philosophical exercise. It is the operating reality of 2026. Large language models like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini can teach you more than most online courses. They can give you customized advice for your specific situation. They can answer your follow-up questions instantly. YouTube has become the largest free university in human history, with world-class tutorials on virtually every subject you can name.

The cost of accessing information has collapsed to near zero. And yet people are still spending money on education. In many cases, more money than before.

The thing they are paying for is not what most people think it is. Understanding this distinction is what separates the experts who build real income from the ones who keep launching products no one finishes.

Here is the uncomfortable truth about the online course industry.

Most people never finish the courses they buy. The data on this is not ambiguous. Self-paced online courses have completion rates that hover between 3 and 15 percent across virtually every major study conducted in the last decade. MIT published research showing that their MOOCs had a completion rate of just over 3 percent between 2017 and 2018. Udemy, one of the largest course platforms in the world, reports an 8 percent completion rate from their best-performing instructors. Harvard and MIT’s joint research found that more than half of registrants never even opened the first lecture.

These numbers are not anomalies. When they do not get results, they do not recommend you to anyone. When they do not recommend you, your next launch depends entirely on your ability to find new cold audiences. When you are perpetually hunting for new buyers instead of being carried by word of mouth from people who actually succeeded, your business is on a treadmill. You are running harder to stay in the same place.

The course model was built for an era when access to information was itself the value proposition. That era is over. The value proposition has migrated somewhere else entirely, and most people have not followed it.

What people actually pay for now is not knowledge. It is the environment that makes them execute the knowledge.

This is a distinction that sounds subtle but changes everything about how you design and sell an educational product. The problem your customer has in 2026 is almost never that they lack information. Their problem is that they have too much information and no structure to act on any of it. They have 47 browser tabs open. They have saved three courses they never started. They have a notes app full of ideas they have not touched in months. They know what to do. They do not do it.

The solution to that problem is not more content. It is structured accountability delivered in a live, time-bound, group environment.

That is what a cohort-based course is. And it is, I believe, the most underutilized and highest-performing format available to anyone who wants to turn expertise into income right now.

A cohort is a live, time-bound group program where a set of students go through material together on a fixed schedule. As opposed to a self-paced course where people log in whenever and work alone, a cohort creates structural forces that drive completion without relying on the buyer’s willpower.

When students are on a shared timeline, they cannot fall behind silently. When there is a live session on Tuesday, they show up on Tuesday or they watch the recording knowing everyone else has already moved ahead. When there is a community channel, they see peers posting progress, which creates social pressure to keep pace. When homework has a deadline, it gets done.

None of those forces exist in a self-paced course. In a self-paced course, the only accountability mechanism is the buyer’s discipline. And discipline, left to its own devices, is not a system. It is a wish.

The data reflects this. Programs with cohort structures, live support, and community see completion rates between 70 and 96 percent. Harvard’s altMBA, a four-week cohort teaching soft skills traditionally covered in a two-year MBA program, reports a 96 percent completion rate. Esme Learning’s cohort programs report 98 to 100 percent. When Harvard transitioned its case-method courses to incorporate peer collaboration, completion climbed to 85 percent while most of their MOOCs remained in the single digits.

The difference between 5 percent completion and 90 percent completion is not content quality. It is the format itself. The structure is doing the work.

This model is not new. That is one of the most important things to understand about it.

Every university in the world runs on cohorts. Every military training program. Every professional certification worth its weight. Every bootcamp that actually produces people who can do the job on day one. Harvard Executive Education charges $15,000 for a six-week cohort. The format has been the backbone of structured education for over a century because it works at a level that self-paced learning simply does not reach.

What changed is not the model. What changed is who can run one.

Until recently, you needed institutional backing, physical infrastructure, and administrative support staff to operate a cohort. Now you need a laptop, a Zoom account, and an audience of any size. The barrier to entry collapsed while the format’s effectiveness remained exactly where it has always been. That gap between low barrier and high performance is where the opportunity sits right now, and almost no one in the creator and expert economy is taking it seriously.

On Maven alone, the largest dedicated platform for cohort-based courses, over 12 instructors have crossed a million dollars in revenue and over 100 have crossed $100,000. Ship 30 for 30, a writing cohort that helps people publish 30 pieces in 30 days, has done over $10 million in lifetime revenue on a single, focused outcome. Building a Second Brain by Tiago Forte, a cohort that teaches people to organize their digital notes and research, has generated between five and ten million dollars. Ali Abdaal’s Part-Time YouTuber Academy has cleared $5 million helping people launch a YouTube channel and publish their first video.

Each of these programs delivers one specific outcome over a short, defined timeline. That narrowness is not a limitation. It is the design principle that makes them work.

If you are sitting on expertise worth monetizing, whether from a career, a craft, a transformation you have been through, or a skill people regularly ask you about, the cohort format gives you a structural advantage that no other model offers right now. Here are four principles that separate a well-built cohort from a live course that just happens to have a start date.

The first principle is transformation over education.

A cohort is not a course with a schedule attached to it. A cohort exists to help a specific group of people achieve one tangible result in a short period of time. The emphasis is on the word “achieve.” You are not selling information transfer. You are selling outcome delivery.

That outcome should be simple enough to state in one sentence and achievable within four to six weeks. “Publish 30 pieces of online writing in 30 days.” “Launch your YouTube channel and publish your first video.” “Build your first income system and make your first sale in 30 days.” Each of those is a clear, verifiable transformation. If your outcome description requires a paragraph of explanation, it is too complex. Narrow it down until a stranger can understand what they will have accomplished by the end.

The second principle is what I call Short, Narrow, Small.

Short means four to ten hours of live content delivered across two to four weeks. Narrow means you solve one problem and deliver one outcome. Small means you include only two to four core features: live sessions, a handful of resources, homework assignments, and a community space. That is it.

The instinct most people have is to add more. More modules, more bonuses, more content, more weeks. That instinct will destroy your cohort. The single greatest reason people abandon educational products is information overload. People feel good when they complete something. Your cohort’s entire job is to be completable. If you feel the need for more sessions or a longer timeline, you are teaching too much. Make it smaller.

<picture></picture>

<g>

</g><polyline points="15 3 21 3 21 9"></polyline><polyline points="9 21 3 21 3 15"></polyline><line x1="21" x2="14" y1="3" y2="10"></line><line x1="3" x2="10" y1="21" y2="14"></line>

The third principle is systems over curriculum.

Here is the truth that most educators resist: people do not want to learn. They do not care about your cohort, your framework, or your teaching style. They care about the result. Your job is to make the path to that result feel as close to done-for-you as possible, even though it is not a done-for-you service.

The way you do this is by building shortcuts into every step. Templates that are 80 percent complete so students only fill in the remaining 20 percent. AI prompts that generate first drafts they can edit rather than stare at blank pages. Checklists that eliminate decision fatigue. Examples pulled from real results so students can model their work on something proven rather than creating from scratch.

The best cohorts do not just teach. They hand people a machine that does most of the heavy lifting for them. That is what makes the difference between a student who understands the material and a student who actually executes it.

The fourth principle is sell before you build.

You do not need a completed curriculum to launch a cohort. You need an outline, an orientation video, and a clear description of the outcome. Sell the first cohort on that basis. Build the detailed slides and session content after you have confirmed there is demand.

This is one of the most powerful features of the cohort model: it has a built-in pre-sale mechanism. Because sessions are live and scheduled in the future, people must buy before the program begins. You validate demand before you invest the time to build. If nobody joins the waitlist, the concept or value proposition needs work. If people sign up, you build with confidence knowing real humans are waiting for what you are creating.

I spent four months designing my program before I launched the first cohort. I pressure-tested every component against twenty years of experience building and running programs at Google, Deloitte, and across government, healthcare, and enterprise technology. You do not need four months. But you do need to understand that a cohort is not something you throw together over a weekend. It is a structured system designed to produce a specific outcome. Treat it that way and the results will follow.

There is a flywheel embedded in this model that most people do not see until they experience it.

When your students complete the program, they get results. When they get results, they tell other people. When other people hear about it from someone they trust, your next cohort sells faster with less effort. When each cohort sells faster, you can raise the price because the product has a track record. When the price rises alongside demand, you have a real business, not a launch treadmill.

Compare that to the traditional course model. You spend months creating content. You launch it. Five percent of buyers finish it. Almost none of them get the result. No one recommends it. Your next launch requires the same cold outreach, the same ad spend, the same exhausting promotion cycle. The format itself is working against you.

A cohort reverses that dynamic entirely. Better outcomes lead to organic demand. Organic demand leads to sustainable pricing. Sustainable pricing leads to a business you can actually run without burning yourself out every quarter.

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" free. YouTube has made instruction functionally free. What remains scarce is structure, accountability, human interaction, and the kind of guided environment that makes people actually do the work they have been putting off. That scarcity is real, it is growing, and it is exactly what a cohort provides.

The people who recognize this early are building the next generation of education businesses while everyone else is still trying to sell pre-recorded content into a market that has moved on.

I have run two cohorts of my own program so far, and our successful candidates make their first sale within 30 days. I am not sharing theory. I am describing what I do on nights and weekends while still working full-time leading AI programs at Google. The model works because the format itself drives the outcomes. Not motivation, not content quality alone, but the structural mechanics of shared timelines, live interaction, and peer accountability doing what willpower never could.

If you have been sitting on expertise you know is valuable, if you have considered building a course or an info product but something about it has never felt right, if you have watched the market shift and wondered where the real opportunity is heading next, this is the direction it is moving.

I put together a free blueprint that walks through the complete system for building a cohort-based course from scratch, including the structure, the launch timeline, the marketing sequence, and the templates I use in my own program. You can get it at guneytopcu.com/cohortblueprint.

The window on this is open right now. The format is proven, the tools are accessible, and the market is ready. The question is whether you move on it while the space is still uncrowded or whether you wait until everyone else has figured out what you are reading right now.

Until next Monday,

Guney

I built an AI lead gen agent

Watch now | Most lead gen tools either cost too much to run, or give back a messy list of people to sort through manually.

Guney Topcu

Most lead gen tools either cost too much to run, or give back a messy list of people to sort through manually.

I wanted something different.

So I built a lead generation agent inside The Build that works from a very specific ICP, qualifies profiles in real time, scores buying signals, and helps surface where an actual conversation might make sense.

Not just who fits on paper.
Who is worth looking at now, and why.

The demo below shows how it works:
From ICP input, to profile analysis, to lead classification, to a detailed report on whether someone is a strong lead, needs review, or is not a fit.

Still MVP.
Still improving it.
Already useful.

If this is relevant to your business, I’m just a DM away.

What becomes scarce when everything is abundant?

Every economic system you were taught to navigate was designed around a single assumption: there isn’t enough to go around.

Guney Topcu

Every economic system you were taught to navigate was designed around a single assumption: there isn’t enough to go around.

Not enough jobs, not enough capital, not enough opportunity, not enough room at the top.
